 Detail platforms, walkways & machine frames for global industrial  clients. Coordinating projects with  worldwide teams. 

As an experienced Steel Detailer you will take engineer-issued draft models of industrial steel structures such as maintenance platforms or conveyor support structures and develop them into full fabrication and erection packages. You will not only add connection details but also adapt international and national regulations and standards to deliver a safe and robust structure.

•  Producing detailed shop drawings and erection drawings for industrial steelworks 
•  Developing 3D models from draft structural models, including connections, grating, handrails, ladders, and secondary steelwork typical of industrial environments  
• Generating fabrication-ready documentation: BOMs, NC files, single-part and assembly drawings  
• Coordinating with engineers, clients, and fabricators to resolve technical queries and ensure drawing packages meet fabrication requirements  
• Managing document control, drawing registers, transmittals, and revision tracking
• Communicating professionally with international clients and stakeholders

•  2+ years of practical experience in steel structure design
• Demonstrable background in industrial steelwork detailing: platforms, walkways, structural frames for machinery, conveyors, or similar — not primarily buildings or architectural steel 
• Understanding of steel fabrication processes and the ability to produce drawings that are directly manufacturable  
• Familiarity with Eurocode or equivalent international standards is an advantage  
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously  
• Excellent written English for client and fabricator correspondence  
• Experience working with overseas fabricators is a distinct advantage

•  2+ years of practical experience in Project Management / Administration
• Demonstrable background in international projects
• General understanding of steel fabrication processes and international standards
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously  
• Excellent English for communicating with team members and management 
• Experience with Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM/ERP systems
